I have a video projector to which I have connected equipment (such as a Blu-ray player) and then connected to an audio amplifier through the projector's headphone jack. is cut off and does not play 5.1 surround sound correctly. So I bought this HDMI switcher, which puts audio back into fiber optic, coaxial SPDIF, coaxial digital, or RCA left-right analog output. I use fiberglass for the amplifier. Excellent! This solved the problem. Now my voice is great. I've already used a second HDMI port on the Firestick (ROKU works too) to accommodate my streaming needs. The price is very good and it works as advertised.
