In the photo I CUT the unnecessary end of the cable CUT (it didn't kink). It has a woven black inner shaft with a woven red finish. Both were a bit difficult to cut. Pros: Strong - Used to extract a 12" diameter stump from a fallen tree (along with digging and chopping). The included 2 ton shackle fits perfectly and is SECURE! Black hose and alum loop guard prevent wear Cons: Red outer hose is thick, can't even pull all the cable onto the winch spool and also loses some strength when reeling in Aluminum but well working bracket.
