Difficult to read with sunglasses on
Works great as a budget tachometer on my 1930 Ford Model A. As the tachometer is an LCD display and not a backlight, polarized sunglasses will cause the # symbols to go off the display disappear. Cable wrapped around the high voltage coil wire, not using as many turns around the coil wire as advertised, the signal was too strong because it was at the output of the high voltage coil. I also had to program the "pulses per revolution" parameter, which is different from what the instructions say. After installation, programmed, it has been working for about a year.
