My hair stylist continued to recommend this product and I finally bit the bullet and got it. I have enjoyed using it thus far. He did mention that the use of this product will seriously tingle my scalp, and for a few minutes almost feel like burning. He said to move through that discomfort for 10 minutes when that sensation goes away and head is ready for wash/rinse. Well, I have used per his instructions for 3 times now, and none of that sensation. The reason I like the product is not only the phenomenal smell of oranges and lavender ( it is truly amazing, partner doesn't care for it but, hey, its my hair ;) - but also that after a couple of uses, after massaging into scalp, I feel like my scalp now feels like there are small pieces of sandy type substance to rinse off when done with treatment, which weren't there before. I may be dreaming, but it feels to me like the product is working and releasing whatever was accumulating on the scalp and truly rinsing it. It is not an uncomfortable or gross feeling at all, just like it is working. I thought, with application being several drops for the entire head that it would last forever, but I am going through the product. I would recommend. the massaging of the scalp, more than before, has just done wonders for how my hair is appearing after washing.
