This set of ceramic cake and tart pans arrived in perfect condition thanks to careful packaging. I'm so glad there weren't any styrofoam peanuts in the package. For apple pie, these ceramic molds are too small, but they work for pecan or pumpkin pie, where a regular 9-inch pie plate works best. After the explosion of oxo glass cake platters, I was happy to find this alternative. I chose white which is suitable for all occasions. Good suggestion for a set of 4. Versatile for tarts, quiches and pies that aren't deep dishes, and doubles as a plate for pasta dishes.
