This is exactly what I needed after taking my PS4 apart to clean it. After seeing how bad dirt and dust can be, I realized that this is necessary to prevent dust from building up on your PS4 and eventually making its way into your console. After reading the critical reviews for this product, I can tell you that these reviews are inaccurate. They complain that it doesn't fit the PS4 Pro and that's because it's for the original PS4. Some say it's flimsy, but I think it's a design decision, so it's a loose fit, allowing you to store things like an external hard drive or USB plug while covering everything else. Most importantly, DO NOT USE PS4 WHILE THE LID IS CONNECTED! This sounds obvious to most, but some reviews complain about the PS4 overheating. Always remove the cover before turning on the console. Try to make it a habit to put on a PS4 case when you're done playing and then place the controller on both. So the next time you pick it up, you'll be reminded that the PS4 has a cover.
