Perfect out-of-the-box replacement for the original Panasonic remote control.

TV remote controls are often misused: thousands of manipulations a week, falls, spilled drinks and skin discharges. If not carefully degreased and disinfected (with alcohol), labels and buttons will wear out and circuits can wear out. Leaving the unit with batteries installed for a long period of time (e.g. in a garden shed) can also corrode the circuitry. This third-party replacement is visually indistinguishable from the OEM and worked right out of the box. I keep the remotes under the plastic.
