Worth an estimated $17 to try and reduce my heat tool. Only used once so far. I have long thick hair so it took a very long time. I had a big pack because I didn't want to run out, thank goodness I used almost all of them. There were no instructions at all. However, I watched a few YouTube videos beforehand and learned some helpful tips: Hair should be damp, about 80% dry. Use small strands, if they are too big they will get stuck and hurt you. Thread the strand through the hook again, this will help pull the hook so the hair doesn't fall off. You'll notice the rubber ends on the "hair noodles" (that's what I call them lol) when you pull your hair, don't forget to open that rubber end by pinching the end closest to the hook. Now the video I watched recommends leaving them on for a few hours, but I accidentally fell asleep in mine, so I have some Cheryl Temple curls in the morning. Maybe it would have been better if I hadn't. But after some combing and flat ironing, everything was fine. I think if I practice more I could get better. These tips were very simple, I only had a few hairs.
