My local Apple Store was running out of black Smart Folio cases so I decided to give this one a try. Given some other reviews mentioning problems with the magnetic closure, I expected this case to be difficult to use. When I received the case and installed it, I was pleasantly surprised. My iPad fits like a glove, it feels better in my hand now, I can put it down or lay it down in canvas mode. And most importantly it seems to me that this will protect my investment if it survives a slight decline. Also, I don't really care, but the auto sleep/wake function works great. For $10-12, that's no problem. Save the money you would spend on the Apple Smart Case and give this one a try.
