We installed a Reolink camera system and the 60ft cables weren't long enough. The preinstalled connector covers seem like a good idea, but we couldn't route the cable without them. hang up. Finally cut them off. Luckily all my connections are in the eaves, so they're not out in bad weather. Also, they are rolled up and need to be unwound (and untangled). Let them sit on the lawn in the sun for a while and they'll be much easier to pull.
