After two husky puppies gave us a large rat AND a possum a few days apart, we knew we needed help. We originally planned to just put the bells on for their nightly outdoor activities before bed, but they got so upset when we tried to take the bells off that they wear them all the time. The noise is pleasant, not too loud (a plus as I get up at 4:30am and don't want to wake the neighbors when the puppies go outside) and our dogs love them a lot. Almost sounds like Christmas. By the way, they still hunt, but luckily we didn't have to see their disappointed faces when we refused their "gifts".
