It makes really good lights and patterns and the speaker sounds really good for what it is. However, it has some design flaws. The noisy motor runs all the time so it can't be stored on a bed frame, so I ended up turning it off with a switch that resets the previously configured lighting settings. I wouldn't mind resetting the lights, but the remote barely works. I have to press the button multiple times, sometimes up to 20 times, for it to work. No other posts I've read have talked about remote control issues, so maybe it's just me. But then again, it's a pretty nifty device overall and makes really nice, vibrant patterns. If only it wasn't so loud.
