Will not fit 2011 Honda Civic

I purchased this molding to replace the windshield *side molding* on my 2011 Honda Civic. The strip is the correct width (0.75 inch) but not deep enough to fill the gap. Space is left between the car body and the windshield, so it is obviously impossible to prevent water leakage. This strip may work on the top of the windshield or on the back window where the window and body meet, but I haven't tested this. The rubber seems to be of good quality which is why I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 1. But unfortunately I'll be back, because despite the compatibility claim, it's not.
