Used on the rear window of a 1998 F150 XLT 4.6 2WD. It had a small water leak. Just cleaned and hung on the window. Works great looks great. Cheaper than asking someone to remove your window and definitely get a new seal.

when buying i would also buy some glue or after gluing try not to drive for at least a day otherwise wind will come out from under the bar and if not catch it after gluing again with glue there were no problems

If I could put a zero I would, I have a panoramic sunroof that had a leak. I bought it to seal the top corner but it didn't stick at all! I used black silicone instead and it actually sealed it. No more rain in my car, no thanks to this product.

Upgrade to 3 stars: Works great as long as you're not in the sun. I tried again after sunset and the tape worked perfectly. The glue might stick to the paper due to the heat. Bought to fix a cracked seal on my windshield. Start was great with good flexibility and adhesion but halfway through the roll the glue started to come off along with the backing paper and there wasn't enough room left on the rubber to stick. Although the first 2 feet were awesome.

I purchased this molding to replace the windshield *side molding* on my 2011 Honda Civic. The strip is the correct width (0.75 inch) but not deep enough to fill the gap. Space is left between the car body and the windshield, so it is obviously impossible to prevent water leakage. This strip may work on the top of the windshield or on the back window where the window and body meet, but I haven't tested this. The rubber seems to be of good quality which is why I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 1…

Just received the package a few days ago and trying to install it. First the brown paper tape came off along with the double sided tape as the glue on the double sided tape is very weak. During installation, the brown paper backing came off in the middle. I tried the other end but it ripped off again in the same place. When I tried to remove the small remaining piece of brown paper everything came loose, again the glue is weak. I wasted the first 6 feet or so. I tried it a second time and…

So this was a purchase for the rear window not the front window. There is a leak in the rear which has resulted in a huge water and mold contamination in the rear trunk. Therefore, all the usual options were troublesome and potentially expensive. So I tried another product that looks good, but it was a harder rubber with a center rib.
