Very easy to use! I cut the design (as shown) before starting. Here's what I did: 1. Base coat, cure 30 seconds2. Pink polish, healing 30 seconds3. Repeat 2 if necessary4. Foil adhesive, cure 60 seconds (instructions state up to 120 seconds)5. Attach foil (I used both a pen and fingers/nails to press on it and tweezers to place the design)6. Add glitter color where there is no pattern and cure for 30 seconds7. Top coat, cure 60 seconds (it only took 30 seconds but I did an extra 30 seconds just to be safe just because there were so many coats). The glue isn't as thick as the base coat and top coat so I used it sparingly to avoid getting it on my cuticles and fingers. I was concerned about the design where my nails were crooked and the foil wrinkled a lot when applied, but this didn't noticeably affect the design. I slowly peeled off the foil, and if part of the design wasn't adhering to my nail, I pressed the foil again before removing it completely. I only used 5-6 inches of foil so this set should last a long time. Very sweet, although it probably screams "midlife crisis" to me.
