Very easy to use! I cut the design (as shown) before starting. Here's what I did: 1. Base coat, cure 30 seconds2. Pink polish, healing 30 seconds3. Repeat 2 if necessary4. Foil adhesive, cure 60 seconds (instructions state up to 120 seconds)5. Attach foil (I used both a pen and fingers/nails to press on it and tweezers to place the design)6. Add glitter color where there is no pattern and cure for 30 seconds7. Top coat, cure 60 seconds (it only took 30 seconds but I did an extra 30 seconds just

I have used several Beetles products and liked them all before. I've never had an allergic reaction to anything before and I want people to know that this product comes with a warning for a reason. My nails looked so beautiful! but almost immediately bumps began to appear on my joints. They were itchy and after my nails were done in less than an hour I had to remove this product. They even started to swell after removing the product. The swelling cracked my fingers. A small piece of the product

The first few times I struggled to get an even application, I realized the problem wasn't with this product, it was my lamp. A new lamp was ordered after the polish had not set and it is running great. I apply a thin layer of glue and cure it for 90 seconds, then let it cool for 60 seconds before applying the foil.

The only reason for 4 and not 5 stars is that I would have liked a bit smoother or foil slider. Luckily I had one and it helped me a lot. Instructions were easy to follow, I've had this item for a few months now while learning how to do my own nails. If you scratch hard enough and over the entire surface, you can get a clear, full-fledged image. Works quite well. be sure to read and follow the instructions. I've found the foil only lasts about a week on my fingers, but the ones applied to my thumbnails still look good after a week. The photo shows a weekly gel polish with foil, everything was used from the beetle line.

Ideal? Maybe not, but on my very first set I was a bit skeptical that it would be difficult. It's not difficult at all! But after trying it a few times I really think it's best to first apply a color that can be similar to the foil you are using. I haven't been able to perfect this yet because I almost always can't quite pick up the foil, but to be honest my nails are pretty long.
