Said to work with wires up to 18 gauge (according to Beadaholique website and YouTube channel). A wire broke from a gate with a 20 gram wire. I've tried both hard and soft wire, both broke. When I tried to squeeze the pliers even further, it worked, but the wire was severed. As another reviewer said they are misaligned but I don't think it has anything to do with the wire snapping or nicking, there isn't enough room for the 20g wire to fit around the round portion of the pliers and to fit in the concave part. part of the pliers and the wire breaks. I've tried cables up to 24g and it worked, but it still damaged the cable. I bought from Beadaholique, it must have been sold out from the FBA seller at the time and according to tracking it was supposed to arrive on the 14th April, not Revain, and didn't arrive until the 18th.
