Stays in place, does NOT mark the door, does not wobble or bang when the door is moved.
We put seasonal wreaths on the front door. Many years ago we decided not to hammer a nail in a new (er, fiberglass with metal core) door and tried different hangers. The few that worked well without hitting the moving door slid sideways over time. Museum clay slowed this down but left a mess on the door in inclement weather. This hanger works great without putty. No rattle, very little slip and looks good.
