Very disappointed with the colour. Mine arrived much later than promised and is MUCH darker than the picture, like a deep chocolate brown mahogany The picture on the website and even the leaflet they sent in the product packaging shows a warm rose gold color and what I received is totally different than that. It smells, but it's not chemical plastic, it's just freshly varnished leather I think. Not bad and I'm sure it will resolve. I would like to return it and get the color I want, but since it didn't arrive in the best condition and was so late, I'm sure this will be a big problem. So I guess I'll keep it. But I am very disappointed. Otherwise it looks good, it's real leather and the pattern on the top is as advertised. You have to pack it yourself and I was surprised at how long it lasted. I put in four large throw pillows, two blankets and a bag of fiberfill and I think it could be a bit stiffer.
