Switch works well, lots of options

KVM works very well. Tested at 4K @ 30Hz only. I'm using a regular keyboard with a Logitech wireless mouse and unified receiver. The receiver is in a regular mouse port because I prefer fast switching and don't worry about losing extra mouse buttons that don't do anything useful to me. The included cables worked fine, but I replaced them with shorter cables that fit my setup better. There are sometimes static artifacts when switching, but in general switching is fast and responsive. The EDID emulation works pretty well, but I had an error which was the result of a loose cable - the EDID message from the monitor was pretty weird, but got cleared after I disconnected everything and reconnected it safely. I've had periods of mouse lag, which could be Switch related, but could also be a glitch with my wireless mouse. The mouse has definitely behaved more inconsistently than before since the switch was installed. I might try plugging it into a USB connection as other reviewers have suggested. Minor annoyances are the overly bright blue LEDs on the front, the fact that it's not as customizable as the IOgear/ATEN switches I've used, and it takes up three buttons. press vs two to switch. I don't use mouse gesture toggle as it doesn't work for me. All in all, the inconveniences are outweighed by the fact that this is a budget 4K @ 60Hz switch that's fairly well equipped with a keyboard, mouse, panel button, and IR remote. switching options.
