These shorts are definitely in my running range, but they're not my favorite shorts (although my fun North Face shorts are hard to beat). They are comfortable, look good, dry well and don't bother me on long runs. The mesh lining (similar to a bathing suit) is not my favorite style as I would have preferred a tight but not too tight stretch lining or none at all, and the red came out a little lighter than me. expected.
