I decided to buy hmb from BulkSupplements because it was cheaper than the Muscletech version called Clear Muscle. I bought Clear Muscle at Walmart for a little over $20. At the recommended dose, the bottle only lasts for a week. They didn't have it in stock half the time, making it a problem to take on a regular basis, and as with most supplements, consistency with hmb is key. Vitaminshoppe sells Clear Muscle for $80 a month's supply. I bought a 250g pack of HMB from BulkSupplements for less than $20 and at the same dosage as Clear Muscle it lasted me almost 3 months. BulkSupplement gave me the same results as Clear Muscle - better recovery, increased strength and endurance in the gym and running, and helped maintain my pumps and muscle, but for a lot less money for a lot more product. The only downside of BulkSupplements HMB powder compared to Clear Muscle is that BulkSupplement is a powder while Clear Muscle is a pill. So you have to deal with bad taste or no taste. In addition, you need to take 3 times a day - one in the morning, one in the afternoon, one in the evening. This makes the tablets more convenient if you are not at home at the time. However, these two disadvantages can be overcome with a tablet capsule making machine. They are cheap and easy to use. I just suck it up and do the good old toss and wash - scoop the flavored liquid into my mouth, tilt my head back, then dip a scoop of the powder down my throat and swallow!
