Review on πŸ›‹οΈ Self-Adhesive Leather Repair Tape Patch for Sofas, Car Seats, Handbags, Furniture, Driver's Seat, Black, 4 X 120 Inch by Doris Tran

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Slipped around my chair, didn't stay in place. Not recommended for office chair seat cushions.

This tape was a little thick to cut, but when I took my big scissors and fixed it it looked great. My chair, with its tattered leather cushion, looked almost new. about a day. However, after I sat back down, the band slipped off in all directions and didn't stay where it broke. I tried reinforcing it with other pieces of tape to keep it in place. I think, that at some point I was willing to painstakingly construct a completely new seat cushion entirely from this volume if required. However, in the end I could not successfully use this tape for its intended purpose. Maybe it would have worked if the hole was in the back of the chair instead of the seat cushion. But still, the tape slipped every time my body moved on the chair, and that's not good. It also formed streaks of black tape that rolled into balls, apparently from the friction of the tape sliding around. . So not only didn't it work well, it also caused a bit of chaos. I ended up buying a folding cover for the entire chair to solve this problem. Although it didn't look as smooth as black leather, it worked much better than duct tape and in the end I needed a solution as to what would work when sitting on it. This tape wasn't the same. Sorry but I can't recommend this tape despite its good looks. I could not successfully use this tape for its intended purpose. Pros
  • Self-adhesive and easy to use, simply peel off the backing paper from the leather repair tape, then apply the repair patch to holes, tears and stains on car seats, sofas, bags or other leather products. Waterproof, strong and durable.
Cons
  • Something different
