I bought two of these for my closet. I mostly wear ballet flats and needed a shoe support to keep them from slipping off. This is fully compliant. They were pretty easy to assemble. I had a shelf that kept falling off, but some zip ties fixed it - bending would probably work too, but I found the zip ties before I found the pliers. Two of them can easily fit in a standard-sized wardrobe, leaving little space. The top shelf in my closet is not very convenient to use as clothes hang down on it. They meet my requirements - inexpensive, easy to assemble and with a flat bottom. I wouldn't try to use them for anything heavy, they're not really built for that. I also like that I can store my flip flops under the bottom bunk. If you are looking for a practical and inexpensive shoe rack, then this is the one for you. I'm a size 9 1/2 and put about 4-5 pairs of shoes on each shelf.
