My 2008 Subaru Forester with keyless remote has stopped opening. Tried cleaning the key fob and changing the battery. It did not work. Thought it might be a unlock button so ordered a case. It didn't work so I finally ordered this keychain. So glad I did! My son and I spent about 20 minutes programming it. It took about 6 tries. Worth the price of the key fob and the time it took to program it. A few tips: the instructions that came with the trailer were identical to those in my car's owner's manual. You cannot open windows while programming. (In our defence, it was hot outside) Pay close attention to the beeps, which will tell you that you did the steps correctly, meaning you didn't complete all the steps and then have to start over. Do exactly what the instructions say, no matter how unimportant (stupid) it sounds.
