Review on 🚪 Optimized Fit Pet Door by Michelle Bonner

GREAT DESIGN: I paid $19 for an open box with prime delivery for the pet door. Instructions were concise and simple but required some tooling skills for installation. MOST IMPORTANTLY the patio door needs to be removed from the track to lay on a flat protected surface to create a stencil on the screen stock then I cut the hole after reinstalling the patio door (TIPS: DO NOT TRY TO INSTALL WITH THE SCREEN IN A VERTICAL PLACE). Our cat is 6 months old and it took her a while to figure it out. But we took her in our arms and put her through the swinging door onto the street, she figured out how to come back to herself after the first 10 days. I think you should work with your pet, but she gets it. She hasn't gone out without our help yet, but we have taken her to our sheltered balcony where she enjoys the fresh air and watches the people and activity 1.5 floors down on the street. The pet door is well done and the company did what we needed. It is durable, lockable, washable and good. I would recommend it. Other similar products seemed a bit flimsy so I paid a few bucks to get better quality. (Also I checked the reviews carefully) I would definitely recommend this pet door. Check out my attached photo next to the tray and cat food area. There is a pet door 2 inches from each edge of the screen bezel as they recommended. It works great. HAVE FUN.
