As most Dyson owners have gone through, there will be a time when the vacuum starts to exhibit signs of a failing battery. Ours would start then stop, then after placing it back on the charger, it would start again and run for a bit. Then it just would refuse to operate for more than about a minute and we could extend that slightly by taking the V8 off the Max setting. Battery was a bit tricky to install but anyone can do it as long as they know how to use a screwdriver. The two included filters is a nice bonus as that is another overlooked part that can fill and cause the vacuum to fail as well. Charging and operation work as intended and run time at least matches that of the OEM. Only real downside is the LED doesn't have the same function as the OEM so using it as a status indicator like the original is a bit finicky. We can now run our V8 on Max setting again.
