Plastic fasteners. the best in trim and license plate frames

Black male adapters that fit under the mounting screw heads are made from cheap plastic. I broke two of them clean while trying to hand tighten the caps. The second set of pin adapters are brass, but I'm concerned about the aluminum caps that thread onto the brass adapters and exposure to road salt, which is very common in northeast Ohio. Just take a look. Not enthusiastic, but in action. I ended up painting a couple of stainless steel mounting screws black and using them.
