I installed it on a new TAO DB14 (110cc) after discovering that the government now bans us from running new cars with adjustable (ex B. safe) installed carburetors to buy. I live very close to sea level, so the multi-purpose air-fuel mixture dictated by politicians prevented the bike from idling even at full throttle. This means the engine has to be constantly revving to keep going, so upshifting lifts the front wheel off the ground and throws smaller riders backwards, forcing them to push even harder. If you don't want to risk your child's life to feed the egos of some politicians, then this is a good alternative to the "politically correct" death traps that our overlords have decreed. With this carburetor installed and adjusted, our bike runs exponentially better than when it was "new" (state) condition. The engine starts first time every time, even in cold weather (80 degrees ambient) and no throttle. It idles great now and has better throttle response. This carburetor isn't so much an upgrade as a repair of something the government broke, so just think of the added value as another tax. Note: The Tao DB14's factory throttle cable is too short for this carburetor, despite the seller's claim of -1 star. I was able to fit it by severing the top metal tube in the rubber boot so the factory cable shield rested directly on the top (cap) of the carburetor.
