Мы собирались вернуть это устройство и дать ему плохую оценку за то, что оно не работает, когда я решил попробовать запасной кабель принтера, который I had. He has started to work! The cables that come with this device to connect to a PC are rubbish. If you want it to work you need to provide your own cables. The rest of the switch works as it should.

Pros
  • Идеально подходит для активного отдыха

  • Мне это не очень нравится, все просто отлично

Keeping disconnecting/rebooting, stopped working after 30 days

I ordered this device to work as a keyboard and mouse switcher between my work machine and my Raspberry Pi 4 which I use as a home office. It kicked off every few hours or so when connected devices seemed to disappear from the host computer and reappeared after a second or two since day one. But for the most part it was bearable. He even did it with auxiliary power connected. But this morning the switch just doesn't work. Attached peripherals are not displayed at all on any of the host…

Not friendly to Chrome OS

Pros: built like a tank. Nice metal body. Works well with Windows and Mac. Cons: When switching to the Asus Chromebox 3, my USB devices (mouse and keyboard) weren't recognized until I unplugged them from the switch and plugged them back in. This is a deal breaker. While their Revain webpage lists Chrome OS for this device, the actual manual that came with the device does not. Not ready for prime time as far as Chrome OS is concerned. It's a shame because I really like this device. But he goes…

  • I don't remember, but there was something

First I tried a box that was supposed to share 4 HDMI ports and USB, but USB only worked on the first 2 channels. This set top box only uses USB but works great. As another reviewer pointed out, the LEDs are difficult to see unless you're looking directly into the hole. Place a narrow strip of tape over the holes for the LEDs. The LED is projected onto the tape. For video I have 3 PCs all with DP video outputs. I installed a DP to HDMI adapter on the first PC. I connected the DP cable to the…

Easy to use and understand

This switch is easy to use and understand. It comes with 4 USB cables so you can connect up to 4 computers. They supply the USB material for the items. I have a wireless mouse/keyboard connected to one port, a printer to another, and a 128GB external hard drive to a third. I connected 3 computers and they can all share the same mouse/keyboard/printer/hard drive with one click. One thing that really stood out to me was the dedicated buttons on the box for each computer. Many other switches have…

Works well: KVM switches

Like many people, I've been working from home for the past few months. I needed a solution that would allow me to use my existing mouse and keyboard with both my home and work computers. This switch controls four USB ports, but I don't use them all. I connected a cable to a mini USB-C hub connected to my work. Computer. I connected the second cable to a USB hub connected to my home computer. It's convenient to have a wired remote control. I hid it between the router and the computer. The…

WARNING -- UNSTABLE

Pros: The box is solidly built and I liked the ability to have separate buttons to switch directly to this computer. As long as I didn't try to switch ports while the computer was on, it worked. Installation: I connected three computers: Desktop, Surface Laptop and Xbox Series XI using good quality shielded USB cables (not the unnecessary cables that came with the box). I have four devices connected: a mouse, a keyboard, a USB network adapter, and an Xbox 360 controller. Conclusion: I would not

Pretty good, best in Computers & Accessories category

You open this and it's pretty easy. The case is made of metal, the buttons with a harsh click, the mysterious power connector I didn't understand. This version comes with 4 USB-A, 2.0 and 4 USB-B ports that want to snap into place when installed. It's probably for the best that there aren't many USB-B ports, but I was surprised to find quite a few on my monitor. This can be annoying at first as USB-B seems so outdated, but it's used here so you can't misconnect it. It's really easy to install…

Great little tool: 4 inputs and 4 outputs.

I tried different options before I landed on this device and I really like it for the following reasons: This way you can directly choose the computer you want to connect to. Only other similar devices. There is a button to switch between inputs and it's annoying when you have more than 2 computers. Also, these buttons aren't mechanical and there's a green LED to show which input is selected. Yes, there is some "bleeding" from the light, but it's not very annoying, and it becomes irrelevant if…
