Perfect tool for my computer system

My primary computer is a Chromebox. I have to use a Windows computer to write, so I needed a very small and inexpensive Windows computer. I wanted to use a keyboard and monitor so this switch was necessary. I have both computers on the table next to the monitor stand. I like the concept of shared devices, BUT. Keyboard and mouse (READ)

What made me buy this KVM is that when I work from home I have 2 computers (personal and work), 2 separate keyboard/mouse sets AND it in the description "WIRELESS keyboard mouse". Setup was easy enough to "switch" Computer 1 to Computer 2 with a shared monitor. HOWEVER, I couldn't get the shared keyboard and mouse to work. Switching works but with high pitch in audio output for Asus UX305 laptop with Windows 10

This device for some reason brings a high pitch in the audio of my Asus UX305 laptop with Windows 10. This kind of Audio interference is not uncommon for laptops with certain peripherals, as an internet search will confirm. There is some interference from the USB ports of the KVM switch. I really love this shop!

I use a Macbook Pro and a Windows 10 system. I have a keyboard, mouse and monitor that I wanted to use for both, but had issues with other products that couldn't easily switch between the two systems. Cannot switch monitor to home laptop

Very strange. When I turn on my home laptop while the switch is on, everything works fine. But once I switch to my work laptop, I can never switch the monitor back to my home laptop. Switching to my work laptop works every time but never to my home laptop. Keyboard and mouse switch normally in both directions. Works great once you get familiar with the features

The product is great for sharing the monitor keyboard and mouse between my work laptop and my home computer. I use a Logitech wireless dongle for keyboard and mouse. When I first turned on the system, the old desktop complained about the lack of a keyboard; I need to run it with the dongle plugged directly into the PC and then plug the dongle back into the KVM switch once the PC has booted up.
