The product is great for sharing the monitor keyboard and mouse between my work laptop and my home computer. I use a Logitech wireless dongle for keyboard and mouse. When I first turned on the system, the old desktop complained about the lack of a keyboard; I need to run it with the dongle plugged directly into the PC and then plug the dongle back into the KVM switch once the PC has booted up. Sometimes the scroll wheel on a mouse stops working even though the pointer and buttons work fine. I found that toggling the power button on the mouse brings everything back.
