I am using a computer with dual monitor output, but I wanted to use one of the monitors for my work laptop as well. With this switch, I can easily switch between these two modes with the push of a button. It's easy to set up, just connect a monitor to the output of the switcher, then connect two computers to the inputs. Did. It's lightweight, inexpensive, and works great on my 1080p monitor. Now if you need more resolution, more computers or more monitors, it will cost you more, maybe a lot more. That's easy; a monitor and keyboard/mouse switch between two computers. Note that in my case the second monitor just stays connected to my "fun" computer while the first monitor switches back and forth.
