Not bought for coffee but to warm up the epoxy for creativity. The oven gets really hot. It's perfect for my purposes (I use a silicone cup for mixing. If you use a plastic cup it will definitely melt). If used for drinks I imagine it would work well depending on how hot mine gets. Never use plastic mixing cups/cups for this. The only reason I took off a star is that the item looks/feels really cheap on mine due to the thin plastic, rough flare lines, and "pitted" panel.
