Need lots of extra spikes.
These works great to prevent falls on icy surfaces. However, the spikes are easily breakable. I literally have used the crampons two times to walk down a long ice covered driveway to pick up mail. Already, one of the spikes was broken and needed to be replaced. The crampons came with 4 extra spikes but I doubt that will be enough.
- Love the cleats. Slip onto my boots and shoes easily. They do the job of preventing falls on ice!
- One snapped in half after only a few uses. Made out of very thin rubber!
