on my cell phone. I opened the box, put 2 AAA batteries (not included) in the remote and pointed it at the TV. Everything works perfectly. No setup, no problem. I liked it so much that I bought another one for another TV so I don't have to go to the remote to switch TVs. Big. Should have come with a TV (maybe they're on now, I don't know).
