Great kennel for determined dogs

We use this kennel for our Great Dane who is very nervous in cages and is VERY quick and easy to get through every basic kennel we've tried. The kennel was fairly easy to assemble and literally just had to attach the wheels, then fold down each side and screw on the top. The kennel is designed for tough conditions and the width of the gaps between the bars combined with the shape and size of the bars themselves prevented our dog from escaping. She chewed on some of the bars, leaving small visible dents on her teeth, but not enough to compromise the kennel's integrity. comes to this point). The kennel included 3 carabiners to hook onto the latches to keep the dog from slipping out of the latches. My kids eventually took one off the roof latch and our bitch climbed out of the kennel the first time, so carabiners are definitely a must for us and will be for you too if you have a smart or determined one Dog. The floor of the kennel is made of bars, just like the walls, but closer together. I think if you try to put a small dog in a big kennel, his foot might get stuck between the bars of the floor. I also don't find that the bars underneath are very comfortable. There are removable storage trays under the bottom grid, but you'll also need to clean the grids if there's a mess. I was initially skeptical that the pan would be under the grate for this reason, but I understand it would be necessary for dogs that eat the pan at the bottom of the kennel. During assembly we had some difficulty keeping the side panels in place as we attempted to insert screws to hold the top in place. For this one step in particular, we found that it required 2 people to hold just the side panels. lift up and quickly insert the screws, then one person can go around and tighten all the screws. The wheels are great for moving the kennel and they each have locks that keep the kennel in one place very well. We've searched a lot for a nursery to try and just didn't want to jump into $900+ options without trying something else first. We are very happy with this purchase and the quality of the cage! I will update as needed over time.
