Review on Tripp Lite P007-006 6ft Computer Power Cord - Heavy Duty, 15A, 14AWG, NEMA 5-15P to IEC-320-C13, Black by Monica Alvarez

So I bought this product because my power cords got very hot. I mean hot to the point where it hurt to hold the power cord. The old ones were rated at 15 amps, and I drew 9.5 amps at 1150+ watts from a 1350 watt power supply. The plugs were simply connected from 12/2 ground to new 20 amp breakers from the panel. When they arrive they are very heavy cables. After installation, they do not heat up at all. not even warm. good quality and good job done.
