Excellent quality for cables and connections

I am using these on a high quality audiophile stereo system. I used to have 10 foot power cords and wanted to shorten them to 3 feet. I had a $200 audiophile power cord for comparison and there was no apparent difference when switching back and forth. With 14AWG they can handle more power. Definitely a quality product.

Pros
  • Useful for more than its intended purpose
Cons
  • Concise instructions

So far, so good! on cables and connections

I bought this for my mining computer. I have a 1000W power supply and am using the cable that came with it. I recently noticed that the area where the power supply and cable connect was warm to the touch. That worried me. I'm running 780 watts off the wall and just thought it would be wise to upgrade the cable to quiet it down. As long as the cable doesn't even heat up, everything seems fine. I will update if anything changes.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Damaged

Super Duty: Cables & Interconnects

I have this power cord to replace the one that came with my guitar amp. I got a stronger cable than I needed, but I wanted to make sure my cable would outperform the amp's capabilities. Very happy with the build quality of this cable. Perfect for the jack in your amp, and the rugged construction ensures a long service life. The box says the manufacturer gives a lifetime warranty on the cable, so there it is. I would definitely buy again if I needed another one.

Pros
  • Easy to Use
Cons
  • Nothing Here

I mean so hot it hurt to hold the power cord

So I bought this product because my power cords got very hot. I mean hot to the point where it hurt to hold the power cord. The old ones were rated at 15 amps, and I drew 9.5 amps at 1150+ watts from a 1350 watt power supply. The plugs were simply connected from 12/2 ground to new 20 amp breakers from the panel. When they arrive they are very heavy cables. After installation, they do not heat up at all. not even warm. good quality and good job done.

Pros
  • Sturdy build
Cons
  • Some trouble

Loose fitting female end -- appears longer than usual

Used to replace the stock POS power cord on my water still. Powered on, but the burner did not turn on. The connection seems sloppy, and the socket seems longer. Not a distiller because I just replaced the C14 plug and have an old printer power cord that I used temporarily, it and the old power cord match perfectly. I think I could bother coming back, but I don't want to bother. Pretty disappointed, I mean we're talking about a power cord and not an electron microscope.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Can be damaged

Excellent high performance cable

My current cable has been swapped between new and upgraded PCs for about 15 years and it recently started arcing at the connection to the power supply because it was so worn and loose. I upgraded the PSU to 850W so I need to upgrade the wire gauge as well which is great. Unfortunately, there wasn't an option for a low-profile plug (which plugs into the wall and exits out the side of the plug), but I'm much more confident that I have the right power cord that I might need, even if I am In doubt.

Pros
  • Many will use
Cons
  • Secret

Not all cables are created equal, and that definitely applies to power cords. You don't NEED to just buy the cheapest cable you can find and assume they're all the same quality and range. the same properties so to speak. When looking for a power cord, the amperage is the most important factor in your selection. There are three general wire gauges (gauges): 14G wire for up to 15A, 16G wire for up to 10A, 18G wire for up to 5A. You can think of the current as the speed of water flow in a pipe. If
