Review on ⚡ Guardian Shock 81914 by Gabriel - 1 Pack by Chris Nastanovich

Okay, no nut for easier tightening, just flats on top of the bar. It was cheap so I should expect that. However, to see the actual performance. Installation is a pain with this design. Most shocks have 2 nuts, one on the bottom, to hold them in place while you tighten the top. Not this one. It's best if you have a ratchet end box. This is also not a metric nut. Okay, one of the 2 was wrong, doesn't fit at all. Good to know while trying to install. In any case, both boxes were correctly marked, but one had a threaded part about half the length, the other threaded post, both sockets would not even fit on it. The nut in the kit does not fit, no nylon. Even bent washers will not fit on the shaft. This is a Gabriel factory quality control issue, not an Amazon issue. Revain please let me resend the bad one for a refund and free return shipping. God what a pain! I'll buy another one at a local store that sells matches. God, I hope Revain's is at least decently executed.
