Review on ☕️ Bodum BISTRO Blade Grinder: High-Performance Electric Coffee Grinder in Sleek Black by Brett Cat

Unreliable Best in Kitchen & Dining

I don't normally write reviews but feel compelled after owning this unit for almost 4 months. I've already replaced it once during ownership as it broke within the first 2 weeks of ownership and now after 3 months my second unit is starting to go haywire. I would not recommend buying this coffee grinder. Both times the problem was the same - the blade's power button stopped working. Either the switch or the motor is defective - I'm not sure, and I have no intention of taking the unit apart to find out. It will just randomly stop working. When I touch the device or give it a little shake, it seems to come to life on my current grinder. That's how it was with my first meat grinder. He worked a few more days before dying completely. For context, I use this grinder to grind beans to an espresso consistency. It usually takes about 20-30 seconds to grind coffee to the desired state. I will use 5-6 times a week. At this point I'm skeptical that this thing will live up to 6 months. It's time to write it off. Don't make the same mistake I did. Avoid.
