Let me start by saying that this umbrella is mostly as described and looks fantastic. However, I am deducting two stars for the following reasons: 1) My umbrella was damaged. One of the ribs didn't snap, resulting in my umbrella having an oddly curved portion that robbed it of both aesthetics and usability. 2) The umbrella is not as windproof as the description says. I live in Boston and due to the effects of the storm, there was a lot of rain and high winds. For me, the weather was a great opportunity to test the umbrella's strength, so I took it with me while I went about my daily chores. Initially the umbrella held up quite normally in almost no wind, but as soon as gusts of wind picked up the umbrella immediately flipped over, flooding me with rainwater. But again, don't expect much from an umbrella with this price tag. All in all this is a great and good value umbrella if you plan to use it for heavy rain with light winds but if you live somewhere with strong gusts of wind. wind, then you should invest in the best.
