This product is as advertised. with some displays. In general the product looks good. Right out of the box, I found the blue and red colors to be too bright. However, taking them close to the OEM Switch joysticks, I'd say they're a lot closer than I first thought. Red-orange is more off than blue. I connected it to my Vizio TV using the stock power cord and it worked as advertised. I also tried using a secondary 39w PSU and it worked too. However, I tried connecting it to a Samsung desktop monitor via HDMI and it didn't work with any power adapter. I went back and tried the OEM dock with my Samsung monitor and it worked great. So don't trust this thing to work with all displays, especially if you're trying to use it with a non-TV monitor. I gave it 3 stars because I wanted to use it for travel, but since I can't trust it to work with all displays, it's not as useful as a "travel" adapter.
