Great kit for a 2003 Silverado. Didn't have to be trimmed for my Pioneer MVH-291BT. The head was very comfortable in this instrument kit. I particularly liked the one-piece construction of this instrument kit. Fits seamlessly into the double hole. Looks factory. The Scosche dash kit I bought previously was more expensive and had a lot of gaps. The only thing I didn't like was that the CD tray has two holes on the back and bottom. If you keep a small item less than 1/2 inch in size, you can lose it in the dashboard. You can block them before installation, but that doesn't bother my app. If you are adding an aftermarket radio to a 2003 Silverado without a Bose/Onstar system, you may need a new wiring harness interface to retain the factory horns since the factory radio controls the safety horns. I bought a Scosche GM2000a, it includes a new radio harness and speaker interface to keep the factory ringing.
