After almost a year of purchase, I finally upgraded my iMac with it by installing an SSD. I used a 1TB Crucial MX500 SSD with an OWC thermal cable. Installing the drive on the bracket couldn't be easier, plug the drive into the SATA connector, turn it upside down, insert the screws and tighten. According to iFixit's instructions, the whole process takes about an hour. The mount is very high quality, which allows airflow to be recirculated and keeps the system relatively cool. I have absolute confidence in Sabrent and their products. I have many Sabrent items and cannot say enough good things about them. I understand mileage will vary but based on my experience with them I would highly recommend any of their products. So if you are looking for SSD solutions, choose Sabrent.
