A little fiddling with the initial setup. We connect the details; This ring light + tripod is one of the best I've seen. Essentially, you clip your video-recording smartphone into a gooseneck mount that sits right in the center of the ring light. (See photo.) You then plug the included USB plug into your computer or an outlet that accepts a USB plug, and you're done. The controller has 4 buttons (see photo). From top to bottom: 1) increase brightness; 2) reduce brightness; 3) Power on/off; 4) Mode selection. With the mode selector, you can shoot with warm light (3000K), neutral white (4500K) and daylight (6000K). I like warm orange light for a friendlier and more informal video. The only problem with all the ring lights I've used is that they reflect off the glasses terribly. During the pandemic you may see a lot of interviews where the interviewer uses a ring light and if you wear glasses you will see the light reflecting off the glasses. The tripod legs can be bent at different angles, and the ring light can also be tilted; So you can record many different videos with this flexible tool.
