does not fit gearbox and transmission
does not fit my 06 econoline. The screw pattern on the ring gear was smaller than the pattern on the carrier. I'm not sure if I received wrong parts or differences in holders. 8.8. The retainer is a Yukon Duragrip that has been tested to fit the factory sprocket. Someone returned this box with an 8.8irs 4:10 gear set for a Ford Mustang. Amazon took care of it and a replacement is on the way.
