Would love to see it work
I recently installed a new LG washing machine and immediately noticed severe water hammer during fill cycles. I read something and these spark gaps seem like just the thing to fix the problem. Unfortunately, after installing two (for hot water and cold water), the knocking remained. Is it the arresters or the washers? Obviously the water hammer, which we never had with our previous washing machine, was the LG unit's fault, but this drain didn't do anything to fix the problem, so I can't help but give a negative review.
