This product saved my 8 month range. A saucepan or similar has badly scratched the stainless steel between the glass lid and the handles. Every time I turned on the light under the closet, the scratches lit up like little diamonds. That totally unsettled me. I was researching how to get rid of scratches on stainless steel. The usual range of soda/toothpaste didn't do anything. I found this product and it had good reviews. I carefully read the instructions and watched the video on the Scratch BGone website. I was afraid to make it worse, but I tried. It turned out great. The scratches are gone and my range looks like new again! So happy. I rarely write reviews, but I needed to let the world know how well this worked. Expensive for what you get, but I can use it for years, except eventually I'll have to buy more oil. The oil really made the new etched metal mix the original. This must be used.
