Bought because I was worried the other adapter would lose connection. Followed the installation instructions. The software minidisk was cracked and unusable so I went to the website, downloaded the software, burned it onto a flash drive and proceeded with the installation. The connection manager would loop and not let me connect to the network. Uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times. Same result. I emailed the companies (they are based in China with no apparent US presence). A few hours later I received an email telling me to just install the driver and let Windows 10 manage the connection. [Note: I already did that] Windows 10 did NOT recognize the device. I had to go into the control panel and find the device and then let Windows manage the connection. The speed (I'm using a Nighthawk AC router) is good. At the moment there were no connection problems (3 days). The only downside was the time it took (several hours) to resolve a software issue. Glad the seller responded promptly.
